Rubber Process Oil (RPO) is a petroleum-derived processing oil used in the rubber industry to improve the processability, flexibility and mixing characteristics of rubber compounds. It helps disperse fillers, reduce viscosity during mixing, improve workability and support manufacturing efficiency. RPO is used in products such as tyres, rubber sheets, hoses, belts, footwear and other rubber components. Different grades, including aromatic, paraffinic and naphthenic oils, are selected according to rubber type, compatibility, performance requirements and applicable safety standards.
Selected according to rubber polymer compatibility, compounding requirements and international safety standards, our RPO grades ensure optimal filler dispersion, workability and finished compound longevity.
Features high aromatic hydrocarbon solvency, providing outstanding compatibility with natural rubber and synthetic elastomers (SBR, PBR). Extensively utilized in tyre tread compounding, retreading, conveyor belting and heavy-duty industrial rubber goods.
Possesses high paraffinic hydrocarbon composition with exceptional thermal stability, low volatility and light color retention. Highly compatible with butyl, EPDM, and thermoplastic elastomers for automotive weatherstripping, extruded seals and high-temperature hoses.
Delivers balanced solvency, good compatibility and superior low-temperature flexibility without discoloration. Widely specified for footwear manufacturing, molded industrial components, rubber sheets, floorings and sports goods.
Acts as an essential internal plasticizer that lowers compound viscosity during mixing, speeding up the dispersion of carbon black, silica and vulcanising additives while significantly improving extrusion and calendering throughput.
